Establishing a relationship with authors is one of my top priorities.  I like to offer free samples for a few reasons:

  • Assessing Your Project: By reviewing a sample of your work, I can help determine the appropriate level of editing needed, and this will allow me to create a realistic timeline for the project.
  • Sample How I Edit: This allows you to sample my editorial approach without any commitment, helps you see how I work, and assists you in deciding if I’m the right editor for you.
  • Mutual Compatibility: The sample also enables me to evaluate whether the project aligns with my skills and fits into my current schedule.
