Hi, I’m Ashley.
I am a certificated editor, and I enjoy helping authors refine their manuscripts for publication. I have a passion for fiction editing, particularly in romance, thriller, and contemporary fiction. As an educator for over ten years in English my journey has brought me to a place where I now help others with their stories.
What drives me?
At the core, what it comes down to is that we are working for the same boss: the reader. It is my job to take on the reader’s perspective, while also listening to the voice of the story and mentally connecting the style of the prose to the message conveyed on the pages. I want to minimize any issues that could distract the reader and pull them out of the world you have created. This allows the reader to have the best experience possible, as I offer supportive feedback without judgment.
